In The Change Room

I fell in love with this skirt the other day.
But at R750 I couldn't love it THAT much. So I let it go.

I have to say the pattern is a fairly basic and simple one.

Perhaps I could attempt my own version...alright then, challenge accepted!

I'm off to a wedding in a few weeks so I'll need something fab anyway!

Bow Tie Me Up

The Bow Tie: A simple art.
Once thought of as an accessory to formal attire, now a commercial and delicious touch to the button up shirt.
I love that it has become an androgynous accessory adding that sassy masculine feel to a lady's attire.

I am aware that the comeback of this little trend has been around the block for sometime now but I've always had love for the bow tie, and I've suddenly had the urge to fashion my own from scratch.

On a side note I also think it's important for one to know how to correctly tie a bow tie and/or tie.  It's a lost skill I feel.

So, look out for the tutorial on my progress (whether it's successful or not).

The above image is not my own but from Launderette and found here.

Road Trippin'

Road Trippin'

I so very desperately want to jump in the car and just drive.
A spontaneous road trip is what I desire!

My Any Time Wear

My Any Time Wear

See more stuff here!

Today I discovered Polyvore.
Well that's a bit of a fib. I discovered it a while ago,
but finally sat down tonight to figure it all out.
Boy is this fun.
It's dress up for big girls!
I predict a gross amount of polyvore posts in the next week.
Apologies up front. But it's just too much fun to keep all to oneself!
So this is my first. Maybe a bit cliché but it's exactly what I felt like
wearing this very minute...
A girl just has those kind of days.

Old School! So Cool!

This little treasure belonged to my mom in the 80' s and...I love it!!
I plan on wearing it lots this summer.
