In The Change Room

I fell in love with this skirt the other day.

But at R750 I couldn't love it THAT much. So I let it go. 

I have to say the pattern is a fairly basic and simple one.

Perhaps I could attempt my own version...alright then, challenge accepted! 

I'm off to a wedding in a few weeks so I'll need something fab anyway!

C is for Cycling

This Sunday saw the beginning of the Alphabet weekends.

And so, us gals decided to take advantage of a beautiful first day of Spring by cycling The Golden Mile.

(Fun Fact: The last time I was on a bike was 14 years ago (pause for the giggles). I myself was pretty surprised that I had actually not forgotten how to balance on two wheels - however how to use the breaks accordingly was a concept completely foreign to me). 

Nevertheless...

What fun we did have.

We took in all the beautiful Durban delights we so often don't see. 

There were beach-goers, sand artists, acrobatic roller-skaters, The Meditators with lunch, marching bands, kite fliers, drinks on the pier and just complete merriment all around. This was a day full of food for the soul.

I really recommend renting bikes from Moses and going on your own little adventure. 

Zesty Orange Moon

I love a little orange moon, rising on the weekend.

Waiting...

I'm waiting on 2 parcels...

I am like a kid at Xmas! The suspense is sure to kill me.

Waiting makes me fidgety, anxious and excited.

I cannot wait any longer!!

I hope they get here quickly.

I hope they are in one piece!

I hope! I hope! I hope!

Maaaaybe I should lay off the caffeine till then.

We did. It was awesome!

Such A Silly Billy Cat!

This is Ozzy. 

Ozzy is my cat.  He's a very sweet, very silly cat.  

Like many cats Oz likes to sleep. A lot.

And he does so in the most obscure places.

No box, suitcase or cupboard is safe. Not even my fabric basket!

And when he does he always has to have his little face pressed up against something.

One of his fave spots is the office dustbin.  Yeah, my cat sleeps in the bin (only when it's full of cushy paper).

I nearly died when is saw his nose in the corner of the bin.

Aaaah Ozzy...such a silly cat.
